your license of a of use for a control number. To these numbers you may
add a five digit product number that is used to identify individual
products. You may choose your product numbers in a way that best suits
your record keeping needs.
When ordering your UPC bar code from us, please provide
us with both your six digit manufacturer's number and the five digit
product identification number. We will supply the 12th digit (also known
as the modulo check digit, or mod check). This digit is figured through
a mathematical calculation based on the eleven numbers you have given
us. We have provided a file, in PC format, which you are free to
download to your own personal computer so you can identify individual
mod check digits.

Note: Truncation is not advised by
