Introduction to Bar codes
Many of the calls that we get are from people who are new to bar codes or are confused to what information they need. So we have put together this small introduction into what information you need to give us and where to get it.
What do we need?
- For UPC bar codes we need your manufacturer's number that has been issued to you by GS1 and your product numbers that you have assigned for each item that needs a bar code.
- For ISBN bookland bar codes give us your ISBN number issued to you by Bowker.com, with dashes.
